Alex G. Berg serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Rancho Mission Viejo. As CFO, he is responsible for the financing, tax, accounting, and financial reporting of Rancho Mission Viejo’s real estate development, ranch, investment properties and operating entities.
Mr. Berg joined the Rancho Mission Viejo leadership team in 2021 as Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting. He was promoted to Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer in 2023.
Previously, he served as Chief Accounting Officer of Terramar Retail Centers, LLC (“TRC”), Director of Operational Accounting of HealthPeak Properties, Inc., and Assistant Controller of LBA Realty. He began his career at Ernst & Young, LLP, serving multiple prominent Orange County clients in the real estate industry.
Mr. Berg is a Certified Public Accountant in California and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Accounting and Finance from California State University, Long Beach.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Mr. Berg currently lives in Irvine with his wife, Christie, and two daughters, Brooklyn and Quinn.
