The nearest fire department is the Rancho Mission Viejo Fire Station (station #56) located at
Antonio Parkway/Sendero Way, approximately one mile from Esencia. And with the recent opening of Los Patrones Parkway, there are now two major roadways in and out of Esencia.
The closest hospital is Mission Hospital, located in the city of Mission Viejo. There are two wellness/preventive centers in the Sendero Marketplace, (Memorial Care and Mission Hospital) and there is a future site for a new Mission Health Center in the NorthWalk neighborhoods.
Ranch Ride is a free shuttle system available to RMV residents for transportation to RanchLife events, in addition to seasonal and weekend destinations to local attraction, including the cities of San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point Harbor. Public bus transportation is available through OCTA, and the Amtrak and Metrolink train station is conveniently located in downtown San Juan Capistrano.
